About The Burlingame Vintage Wood Bat:

A copy of a bat manufactured in Providence, Rhode Island for many professional players.

Finished traditionally in vintage cherry with a black tip to closely resemble the original bat. Overall a smaller, but still nicely balanced, bat due to the smaller barrel that goes into a smaller but thicker handle that slightly flares into knob to catch your hand on.

Era: 1850s to 1860s

  • Vintage players circa 1880's
  • Player that wants a historically realistic bat.
  • Player looking for a nice balance for weight in their bat

    This bat is simply AMAZING. Playing Vintage Baseball in the Boston/New England Area we see SO many bats from all sorts of companies that make Vintage. Phoenix is by far the best when it comes to quality, period accuracy, specs/stats, customer service (this one especially - no one does it better!), selection, customization, and price. I think I got everything. This bat has great weight, balance, and length for slower pitch leagues and gives tons of pop. Great sound when ball strikes bat, and an extremely comfortable swing. Honestly, don't even look at other bat companies - You've found the best with Phoenix!!!
