Description

About the Coach's Fungo:

Same design as the Pro wood fungo, but with a flared handle end. Very comfortable in the hand while still providing a good grip. Great for hitting grounders and pop-flys during practice.

The Coach's Fungo has become the popular choice of coaches due to the repetitive nature of hitting balls when using a fungo. With the lack of a defined knob on the end of the handle, the palm and side of your hand endure less friction. The most popular size choice? 34" (but available from 32" to 36").

All Phoenix Bats fungos are made from birch wood to ensure extra durability and optimal weight. This is one you should have for a long time!

  • Coach for hitting fly balls grounders
  • Prefers flared knob for comfort against side of bottom hand due to repetitious nature of hitting balls

    Great balance, handle feels awesome. Was worried about the handle purchasing online but it’s perfect. Got the bat customized and looks incredible.

    Got my fungo earlier this week and have already hit several buckets with it!!! This bat is well balanced and easy to place the balls where I want them. Practice Makes Perfect!

    My son, who is a coach, loves the fungo and it's fun to have it personalized. Service was fantastic, very fast. Your website is kindof a disaster though. Hard to navigate, slow loading, and the black background makes it hard to read.

    I have been using my Coach’s Fungo for a week so far. I had been using a cheap, very heavy fungo made by another company. My Coach’s Fungo is a night and day difference in accurately hitting grounders and fly balls and it doesn’t leave me spent after hitting both in my two kid’s separate practices. Much like buying a quality tool, I should have spent a bit more to get this quality bat the first time.

    Absolutely a piece of art and a great fungo bat. Not only is the bat a fungi with a lot of pop and a great feel but it is so beautiful it could be hung on the wall forever

    Although there is no baseball due to Coronavirus, I’ve still been able to hit my son a decent amount of ground balls and pop flies. The bat allows me to place the ball right where I want it!

    Love the custom options and really like the flared knob option. So much more comfortable than what I have been using.

    Just got my fungo today and it is super sharp looking! So nice in fact that I'm almost afraid to start hitting balls with it! Great customer service and just an awesome job on the bat. Will be the envy of the coaches out there!
