About The DF Vintage Wood Bat:

The DF vintage base ball bat is light enough for modern ball, yet dates from the 19th Century.

This slightly longer barrel than the JT tapers down to a thin handle with almost no knob.

Era: 1850s to 1860s

  • Ballist who wants a thin handled bat, but without a knob to catch hand

    Haven’t had the pleasure of using the bat yet but if it performs anywhere close to the level of craftsmanship that clearly went into manufacturing the bat then I will be beyond ecstatic for spring of 2021!!

    I have not hit it yet but the craftsmanship and quality are high. The bat looks and feels great. The company also did a nice job of communicating status and making sure i was in the loop on timing.

    Been playing vintage base ball for over 15 years. This is my go to bat. My old one broke after 12 years of use. Needed a new one and went with the same style and length. I always loved these handles and find them comfortable. The knob works for me. Phoenix is the best vintage bat maker out there.
