About the Coach's Half Fungo:
Same design as the Coach's wood fungo, but with a flat sided barrel. Very comfortable in the hand while still providing a good grip. Great for hitting grounders and pop-flys during practice that simulate real game hits.
Our newest product in the fungo line up, the Half Fungo is designed to add some variability into your pregame warm up or practice regiments. Traditional fungos produce nearly perfect ground balls every time, the idea behind the Half Fungo is to allow the coach to hit ground balls with different types of spin. In a game, infielders will see ground balls with sidespin, topspin and backspin and the Half Fungo helps make replicating those types of ground balls easier!
All Phoenix Bats fungos are made from birch wood to ensure extra durability and optimal weight. This is one you should have for a long time!
