A Note From our CEO about the Beat Cancer Honor Bat:
In July 2018, I lost my father to acute myeloid leukemia.  He was 62 and in perfect health prior to diagnosis.  We started our Beat Cancer bats just prior to his diagnosis, and I am proud to say looking back, I was our very FIRST customer in purchasing a Beat Cancer bat for my father.  Little did I know at the time, that he would have very little time to enjoy it.  Two months from the day of diagnosis, he was gone. 

In working with one of our owners here at Phoenix Bats, who lost his mother-in-law in late 2017 to cancer as well, we could no longer stand on the side lines and hope this would one day cure itself.  But what could we do as a baseball bat company?  Enter our BEAT CANCER honor bats. 

With proceeds from EVERY one of these bats going straight to cancer research, you can know that your purchase is going for something that will benefit others. 

Working together, we are proud to introduce our effort to beat cancer: The Beat Cancer Honor Bat -- a personalized full-size bat to honor your friend, family or loved one fighting (or who has fought) the battle against any form of cancer. It's also a neat way to honor those who support that fight every day.

For every Beat Cancer bat we sell $40 of each bat (plus any extra donations in full) will go to cancer research.

What the heck is "I want to pay extra"?
As 100% of the proceeds from the bat's sale (excluding rush service fees, if applicable, and shipping cost) will be donated by Phoenix Bats to charity, we have included the option to pay more than the stated price of $55.00. This is with no obligation what-so-ever. It's simply a mechanism to raise extra funds for us to donate to Pelotonia.

Is this purchase tax deductible?
As you are receiving a good to give to someone (or keep for yourself), the purchase is not tax-deductible, as far as we know. Please consult your own tax advisor. But, know that the proceeds raised from this sale will be donated to a great cause. Thanks for your understanding as we work to do something really good.
