CRAFT Wood Bats (not swingable)

Craft-grade wood bats are baseball, softball or fungo wood bats that have a flaw in the wood, making them not salable for game or practice use. Imperfections may include pin holes or larger knot holes, cracks or slight warping (primarily the case for fungos). All craft bats can be filled in (if needed) and painted, making them great for craft projects that many have seen in pictures and online. Whether making stool legs, a flag themed wall hanging, railings or the like, these bats are a very cost effective way to get the pieces needed for your special project.

Customers at our annual warehouse clearance sale have found some of these bats to be suitable for tee work in practice or as a dirt cheap fungo. For liability reasons, we do not recommend or advise such use.

CRAFT GRADE WOOD BATS STATS:
Available lengths: 30", 31" 32", 32.5", 33", 33.5", 34", 34.5", 35", 35.5" & 36". Best effort made for all bats of same length, but not guaranteed.
Models: Mixed styles. May also include a mix of baseball, fungo and softball bats if stock not available of one type.
Baseball bats have a 2-1/2" barrel diameter. Softball and fungo bats are 2-1/4". Softball barrel length is longer versus a fungo.
Wood Types: Maple, birch and ash. Effort made to include same wood type for each order, but not guaranteed.
Finish: None - left unfinished. No brand markings or engraving.
Wood Quality: Same premium grade wood as on all our 1st run bats but with flaws described above and below.
Best efforts will always be made for consistency in lengths and type (baseball, softball, fungo) but substitution, without notification, will be made when needed. We hope the incredible pricing on these bats offsets any concerns.

SHIPS OUT IN 2 WEEKS MAX
Order a clearance bat by noon EST* and you order will ship no later than 2 weeks later.
Example: order by Monday noon EST → ships 2 weeks from Monday.
*After 12p EST Monday-Thursday: start date is next day. 12p EST Friday-12p EST Monday: start date is Monday.
NOTE: all bats within an order ship together. If an order contains a bat of longer production time,
the ship date is determined by the bat with the longest production time.

WHY IS THIS BAT A SCRAP BAT?
Scrap wood bats end up in clearance because the bat has been determined to have a wood flaw that we believe will not allow for proper and long term use as a game or full use practice bat. These bats may contain pin hole or other type of knots in an area that impacts durability, cracks that can be filled in with putty or that have moderate warping (which is primarily seen when looking down the bat from handle to barrel).

SCRAP BAT PURCHASE POLICY
Scrap bats are not covered under Phoenix's Risk Free Guarantee and thus are not returnable and are not exchangeable for other scrap bats. All sales of scrap bats are final.
