About the Heavy Weight Training Wood Bat:

Test yourself with this beast of a training bat! Cut to our O267 profile, this bats is thick and has plenty of weight to help you develop all the muscles used in a swing. Strengthen your core so you can turn on those inside fastballs with more power as well as giving your forearms a workout so when you get full extension on that outside pitch, you know it's gone!

Training Tips: -Use this bat as a warm up bat. There is such a thing as over swinging with a heavy bat so be sure you count the amount of swings you are taking with it!

This bat is perfect for tee work, soft toss & short cage work to get the muscles working as well as helping to develop bat speed.  We suggest taking your first round of BP for the day with the heavy bat as it's much easier to go from heavy to light than visa versa. **We recommend that no more than 2 rounds or 100 swings at a time with the heavy bat.

    My son plays at a high level and will be a freshman D1 player so we ordered a 35/40 to be use during front toss and other drills in the cage to help improve his mechanics. He loves the bat and is seeing improvements in bat speed, improved efficiency with his game bat and increased power. The customizing was cool and easy to use. It’ll be apart of his daily hitting routine. Thanks Phoenix

    This is my second custom bat from Phoenix for my son. Absolutely stunning quality product. This quickly got put into the on deck circle by the whole team to use. They all love it. My son also uses it for weighted balls and tee work. I can’t say enough good about Phoenix bats. Don’t hesitate to get one for yourself.

    I ordered my own heavy training bat after using one for my college team. It has made a huge difference in bat speed and power. I’ve always been a strong hitter, but this bat has helped tremendously. Would absolutely buy again

    I finally got a chance to order me a Heavy weight trainer bat not too long ago, I like it so far; it's pretty balanced for a 40 oz however I enjoy it very much.

    We purchased this bat to incorporate the overload/underload training program for my HS aged son. Delivery was very fast and the customization options were incredible. We just got the bat last week and began using right away. So far the quality looks to be very good.
