About The K455 Youth Wood Bat:
The lightest of our youth bats, the K455 is designed like an adult bat in terms of shape, with the weight of a youth bat. It meets the specs required for youth bat play.
The K455 youth bat is perfect for those 10-11 year old players who have developed a little better control in order to avoid the inside pitches. It also gives them the opportunity to feel more like they are swinging a pro's bat.
For the younger youth (6-9 years old), the K455's modern design (faster transition from barrel to handle) makes for a great tool for establishing a big league swing.
Per Little League rule 1.10, bats for Little League (majors) and below, shall be a smooth, rounded stick and made of wood or of material tested and proved acceptable to Little League standards.
