About The M7 Mantle Vintage Wood Bat:

This replica of the model the Commerce Comet swung in the 1950s is slightly bigger in barrel and handle diameter than a standard amateur wood baseball bat of today. The difference is that having both handle and barrel being slightly thicker, Mantle's bat comes in an ounce heavier than most modern power hitter's bat.

    I’ve never used a wood bat so nice that I’m so willingly going to choose it over a metal bat in an actual game. This is the exception because it’s that good. I’ve taken many 80+ fastballs off the handle and the wood still hasn’t cracked or given any signs of breaking. The sweet spot is nice and has great pop to it as well as giving off a nice quality wood sound that makes you crave for more. I’ve recommended it to all my baseball friends and plan on buying another.

    Terrific bat, great length and weight with nice weight distribution. And I really like the smoke color. Teammates have already dubbed it "Black Beauty."
