About The SB5 Wood Softball Bat:

The SB5 has a nicely tapered hand and a long barrel. It is end weighted for power wtih a flared knob, and swings like a dream.

All Phoenix Bats wood softball bats meet ASA standards for wood softball bats (see Rule 3), with a max 2-1/4” barrel diameter. To keep the umpire happy, we mark them with “Official Softball” and "ASA Compliant".

  • Pure power hitters looking for an end weighted bat.
  • Player that tapes their handle a lot.
  • Player wanting more pop and end weighted bat.

    I haven’t played ball since I was in my teens. After a ton of research I finally decided to grab this bat from Phoenix I’m already designing my next one. It feels like riding a bike. The weight, length and customization are absolutely perfect. I’m currently batting .375 so the bat has a ton of pop. Cannot recommend enough.

    Awesome bat! Shipped quickly and came exactly as advertised. Beautiful colors, great feel, and really smooth on contact. Can’t wait to use it in a game, but I was very impressed with it in the cage!

    Thunder stick! Great balance, terrific job on design…I love this bat, the ball pops off it and it just feels awesome, I went with birch rather than maple and I think for me it is the right choice…well done folks!

    Definitely the best wood bad I've ever swung it's amazing feels good in your hand good weight everybody on my team in the wood badly come in Love didn't used it

    Solid bat and bat really flies off. Will most likely get a AP5 next but this bat is perfect for power swings

    I've been playing competitive mens softball for 10 years and this is the only bat I will use. I've tried a bunch of others, and the ball just comes off the bat different with these....crazy pop. I recommend them to everyone I play with. Phoenix also has great customer service. I had an issue with a bat I ordered last year and they made good on it right away. They haven't let me down yet and I will continue to use them for years.

    Wow. Product came out amazing as ordered. For says it's 31 oz but feels like a well balanced 28 oz bat. Used yesterday and no lie, hit furthest ball with wood bat ever. Another on squad was crushing it as well. Well done.
