About The SB3 Wood Softball Bat:

Our fast ships all come cupped, with a natural (no finish) handle and your choice of natural (no finish) or a solid barrel color. Same pro grade wood, just done FASTER with no rush fees. The only thing you sacrifice is the full customization options, but you can still make this one yours!
If ordered before 12pm EST Monday through Friday, your order will ship same-day if ALL NATURAL, or if a barrel color is selected it will ship the next business day. Add a day if order is placed after 12 Noon EST.
The SB3 is our most popular wood softball bat. It’s a great team bat and the perfect baseline bat for someone new to wood softball bat play.
Coming in at a -5 length to weight ratio (ex. a 34” SB3 wood softball bat is 29 ounces), it’s the lightest of our softball bats. The SB3 makes an easier transition for the player who used a light metal or composite softball bat, especially if they never swung wood or a high school approved -3 or heavier baseball bat before.
The SB3 features a slightly end-weighted barrel and a long, thin handle. Don’t worry—it still packs some good pop!
All Phoenix Bats wood softball bats meet ASA standards for wood softball bats (see Rule 3), with a max 2-1/4” barrel diameter. To keep the umpire happy, we mark them with “Official Softball” and "ASA Compliant".
